About Amy

Based out of the greater Philadelphia area, I'm a senior level creative director, toymaker, identity/packaging designer, illustrator, and brand / line developer for stellar companies such as WeVeel, Crayola, Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, MEGA Brands, Jakks Pacific, Nylabone, Kathy Davis Studios, WeVeel / Scentos and more for 20+ years. My work has taken me to Hong Kong, Germany, the UK, California, NYC and back again.

My illustration work has been featured in licensed products, publishing, games, and children's toys and publishing. Clients include TEDx, the American Library Association, Galileo Games, Cryptozoic Entertainment, New York Times bestselling authors Catherynne M. Valente and Chuck Wendig, and many more.

Since 2001, every step of my career has been building brands and strategies - sometimes from the ground up, and sometimes taking a brand and lifting it up to the next level and beyond - with perseverance, creativity, driving vision and a compass aimed toward the brand's values. From brand birth to launch, I guide teams and project solutions that align with value, ethical/sustainable considerations, education and joy, and analyzing their place in the market landscape to find the most advantageous white spaces for future growth.

Market research, concept, sketch, specs, costing, branding, logos, packaging, style guide, product photography, look books, trade shows, marketing, social media kits, d2C site design and launch... I’ve done it all, while keeping up with industry trends in design, ethics/sustainability, child development and play patterns, trends in play, consumer insight, and licensing. A healthier planet is my lifestyle and life's goal. I love my team, respect their skills, develop their talent, give them room to shine and grow, and curate and cultivate the talent that will make the future of the industry.

Because the people matter most, and having fun every day isn't just for kids.
