Brought on as the Manager of Product Development for Sprout Channel on NBC, they had no existing consumer goods development. We started from scratch, from child development expert research and from our channel's programming credo, and created the Core Values document. We wanted to define what made our products Sprout products. From there, I created Core Value Icons and a visual language to communicate on a consumer level what we stand for and what parents and caregivers can expect from our toys. I applied this visual language and these core values to every learning toy and product developed for the consumer goods line, and started creating product that excelled in every way - educational, ethical, environmentally friendly, child-safe, and joyful!
