Hi, I’m Amy. It’s really nice to meet you.
Based out of the greater Philadelphia area, I'm a seasoned and passionate creative director, toymaker, brand identity leader and doer and have done so for stellar companies such as WeVeel, Crayola, Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, MEGA Brands, Jakks Pacific, Nylabone, Kathy Davis Studios and more for over 20 years. My work has been featured in licensed products, publishing, games, and children's toys and publishing. My work has taken me to China, the UK, EU, California, NYC and back again.
Every step of my career has been building brands and global strategies for the moment we’re in - sometimes from the ground up, and sometimes taking an existing or struggling brand and lifting it up to its potential - with perseverance, collaboration, and a compass aimed toward filling existential need. From idea to launch, I guide teams that align value, ethical/sustainable considerations, education and joy, and analyzing their place in the market landscape to find the most advantageous path for future growth.
Experienced in every aspect of GTM, you' might find me working on: Strategy plans, market research, brand building, product ideation, specs, logo work, packaging architecture, style guides and look books, product photography, trade shows, marketing planning, social media kits, partnerships and collaboration with designers, content creators and licensors, d2C site design and launch rollout, all while keeping up with industry trends in design, ethics/sustainability, child development and play patterns, trends in play, consumer insight, and licensing/IP growth mindset.
Leaving this planet and our global community a little better off that I found it is my life's goal. I have a collaborative leadership style: I love my team, respect their skills, develop their talent, and give them room to shine and grow because when the team shines, the whole boat lifts.
My favorite hobbies range from mountain trail exploring to strategy games, dragon boating, to photogaphy. My family is the center of my world, my favorite project, and my compass pointing north.
