HOME GOODS, TEXTILES + GIFTS
Every new product line or launch has its own challenges and new tasks, and I've pretty much done it all. From the trend research and lookbook design, to the complex process of textile design, repeats, color separations and sampling, to the full sourcing and launch of a line of bespoke limited-edition product, I've spent the last few years developing a skill set of turn-key product development, licensing partnership, and always-looking-forward trend research and implementation.

Kathy Davis® brand: the fresh color and bright beautiful artwork, the sentiment-driven editorial that makes heartfelt connection. I'm having a lot of fun leading design to turn it into a line of product that lets the art and words really sing, and working on every aspect of the licensed and D2C goods process, from partnerships with licensing and an understanding of process and cost to production timelines and market trends. This is creating inspired living home goods that bring a little smile to every day.
Working in textiles, with all of its new challenges of learning about repeats, color separations, color checking and the painstaking approval process involved in multi-part screenprinting and production through overseas partners, has been an extremely fulfilling process to learn.
SOPHISTICATED + SENTIMENT-DRIVEN
Below: the holiday bedding line I designed through partners of Kathy Davis®. From textile design and repeats/color seperations through the sampling and approval process, I had an attention and appreciation of detail, texture, color exactness, and special touches to make the line feel cozy and treasured.
Below: a textiles collection called "By The Sea", which was a hot seller in Joann's fabrics, Walmart and internationally at several retailers in Australia / New Zealand. I worked on not only the patterns, but the approval process.
ENTIRE PRODUCT LINE DIRECTION + DESIGN
Whether its textiles, paper goods, giftables, wall decor, jewelry or home decor lines, I've ideated and designed an ongoing product line of brand-on bespoke product that's true to the core aesthetics and strong art and messaging of the brand and its message of heartfelt connection.
Being responsible for the overseeing and design of multiple internal product lines, from sourcing and costing budgets to prototypes / design to the final product rollout has all been my active role for the last 3+ years. PRODUCT SHOOTS + STYLING
One of the most dynamic and exciting parts of the process of working for home goods is the photoshoots! Every industry is different, and being involved in shoots for home good products and lifestyle videos is a whole different ball of wax from toy product commercial shoots with kids!
I've been involved with every aspect of product shoots, from mock-ups to styling, mood boards to intricate shot-by-shot mapping and planning, to resource allocation and on-set styling. The end result has always been a stellar learning experience, and gorgeous new imagery for the brand.
